2026 World Whiskies Awards
We are so excited to share that Lost Lantern had a great night at the World Whiskies Awards and Icons of Whisky ceremony in Kentucky this month!
Shadow & Light, a special release we created in collaboration with the independent bottler docuseries ‘Independent Spirits,’ is an homage to the old and the new: it brings together both peat-smoked and mesquite-smoked whiskies from our friends at Cedar Ridge, McCarthy’s, Santa Fe Spirits, and Whiskey Del Bac. The result is a warm, deep, and richly smoked whiskey. If you loved our blended malts Shadow (a peated malt) and Flame (a mesquite-smoked malt that also won Best American Blended Malt the year it released), this whiskey brings the best of both together.
We love American Single Malt and were thrilled to create this unique, first-of-its-kind blend… and even more thrilled for it to be honored as the Best American Blended Malt.
Ryan, our Production Manager, traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to accept the awards. We also want to say cheers and congratulations to our many friends and distillery partners who also won major awards at the show!
