New Riff Kentucky Straight Bourbon #2

A Kentucky Classic
Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from New Riff Distilling in Newport, Kentucky. Founded in 2014, the family-owned distillery brings a new lens to centuries of Kentucky bourbon tradition. Their relentless commitment to patiently and meticulously doing things the right way has quickly made New Riff a leading voice in bourbon’s historic heartland.
Made from 65% corn, 30% rye, and 5% malted barley, this was aged for 4 years in a 53-gallon Char 4 ISC Cooper’s Select barrel. Full oak and baking spice notes dominate the rich nose. The beautifully full and rounded palate has hints of black cherry, dried ginger, and dark chocolate, leading into a very long and richly spiced finish.
