George Dickel Tennessee Light Whiskey 8 Years Old

Not As Light As You Think
Lost Lantern hand-selected two of these casks from Cascade Hollow Distilling Co., better known as George Dickel, one of the most storied distilleries in the country. Founded in 1878 and rebuilt in the 1950s, the distillery has long been a defining voice in Tennessee whiskey and has soared to new heights under the leadership of trailblazing distiller Nicole Austin. George Dickel is Lost Lantern’s first heritage distillery partner.
These are rare single cask offerings of George Dickel’s Tennessee light whiskey, which has never before been released, and was made from 84% corn, 8% rye, 8% malt, and aged for 8 years in a used oak barrel. It is Lost Lantern’s first light whiskey, delicate and nuanced.
Light whiskey is an unusual style, and rarely made. We think this makes it very worthy of exploration. This whiskey has a lighter mouthfeel and body compared to bourbon, with a similar depth of complexity.
Coming October 21st!
