George Dickel Tennessee Whiskey 18 Years Old

In the U.K., This Whiskey Could Drink Itself
Lost Lantern hand-selected four of these casks from Cascade Hollow Distilling Co., better known as George Dickel, one of the most storied distilleries in the country. Founded in 1878 and rebuilt in the 1950s, the distillery has long been a defining voice in Tennessee whiskey and has soared to new heights under the leadership of trailblazing distiller Nicole Austin. George Dickel is Lost Lantern’s first heritage distillery partner.
These are rare cask strength single cask offerings of George Dickel Tennessee whiskey, the style the distillery is best known for. Each was made from 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malt, charcoal-filtered by the Lincoln County process, and aged for 18 years in a new oak barrel.
Our George Dickel 18 year old Tennessee whiskey single casks are far and away the oldest whiskies we have ever released, and they are rich, deep, and powerful. Because of Tennessee’s humid climate they are actually quite low proof–yet they have great maturity, depth, and intensity, showing the flavor markers you only get from a truly long-aged whiskey: leather, deep roasted fruit, and hefty oak.
Coming October 21st!
