Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Rock Town Distillery, the first legal distillery in Arkansas since Prohibition. Founder Phil Brandon started the distillery in 2010 to create world-class spirits from Arkansas grain and to celebrate the farmers who grow it.
This straight bourbon whiskey, our first from Rock Town and from Arkansas, was made from 82% Arkansas-grown corn, 9% Arkansas-grown wheat, and 9% malted barley. Aged for 4 years in a 53-gallon barrel in the Arkansas heat, it has notes of vanilla, graham cracker, and lemon custard on the nose. The warm, welcoming palate has hints of fresh sweet corn, lemon chess pie, nutmeg, and clove.

About Rock Town
Phil Brandon, a multi-generation Arkansan, started Rock Town Distillery in 2010 to bring distillation back to his home state and to create spirits from the state’s agricultural bounty. The distillery has won numerous major awards since its foundation, and was probably the first new American distillery to be featured by many of the traditional Scotch independent bottlers Lost Lantern itself is inspired by. To this day, Rock Town produces fresh, grain-forward bourbons that reflect the Arkansas climate, as well as a variety of other spirits.
